RART ORDER THE CLIMAX

RART, Ryan Styles and Saam.  6th of a series of 6.

The LAST Live Art and Experimental drawing at Bistrotheque.

For 5, fast months we have been experiencing an awesome occurrence on the 2nd Sunday of each month; RART ORDER forge through time bearing Live Art and Drawing.

For RART Order climax, Styles shall be conducting a ceremony of light and colour, contorting the forms of his audience into a playground of abstract expressionism. He’ll encourage colours to bleed through the room and inspire the audience to draw and ignite his performance further. The viewers shall interact alongside and within his one off performance. Styles developed this performance alone in his bedroom with a torch.

Styles’S performance is nothing short of surreal’ - Arts Hub, Rohan Shearn

Saam farahmand is a seductive and prolific director in his field.

THIS MONTHS OFFERING  MILLIE BROWN  PERFORMANCE‘I find beauty in the socially unacceptable. My public performance of puking rainbows has developed from primitive desires and thoughts that could only be found in my subconscious. Society has conditioned us to view vomiting as a vulgar act, by challenging this with opposite emotions and visual aspects I have changed the context to my idea of beauty. The end result leaves me with a sense of self inflicted purity.’Millie Brown

POSSIBLY FORGOTTEN ART TIMELINE REVISITED

Six months of Live Art and Experimental Drawing on the Second Sunday’s AT BISTROTHEQUE.
On the 2nd Sunday of each month, RART faithfully creates a site specific classroom of experimental life drawing. Every session is an independent spectacle and at each one a crucial Artists showcases a new piece of Live Art. The audience and drawers are invited to respond through mark making and forced to react with fervor to the artists work and push the limits of techniques and materials RART dictate they use. Pausing to perve on the past’s naked muses and haunt Art History’s forgotten studios all participants will traverse time from BC to the present day.
This dynamic drawing session is tutored by two animated practicing artists and is searching to understand drawing and art as much as you are.

 PERFORMANCE BY JAMIE LEWIS HADLEY
A former professional wrestler, using this as a departure point to create live art performances, actions and installations that explore, both aesthetically and thematically: deterioration, endurance and pain. His work uses repetition and durational strategies to interrogate the spectators capacity to for complicity and creates charged spaces that incubate negotiated viewings of masculinity the male body and its behaviours.

About:

RART ORDER exists at various venues.

Contact RART to find out our latest
us2@r-art.co.uk

RART are a socially aware collective of emerging and established artists, writers and designers based in east London and beyond. They exist through exhibitions, open forums, art Rants and happenings.

RART’s 'out reach' Programme RART ORDER is hitting the beer swilling fine diners with an injection of culture, a scrawl with charcoal amidst the gin and tonic lulls.

This is all as it sounds: drawing naked people outside of the restraints of the artists’ studio.

You will all be talked through the process of drawing the human form by RART's experienced Tutors, mistresses of the ceremony Elliott Young and Miss Ita Maude Wooller.

Each session we tackle a different consideration, temperament and medium the materials are supplied as the dimensions will be dictated according to the session.

All materials are provided and we explore many throughout the various sessions.

We have a fast pace, interactive slant on the sometimes stagnant atmosphere of the life drawing room.
Within our high octave experiential sessions there are limited places available session.
We Co-ordinate each session based upon the dynamic and the numbers within the group.

We have anything from grouped poses of up to 4 models playing out roles in historical religious masterpieces to one model jumping around the room and being drawn simultaneously.

We have a wide range of sized and shaped drawing boards from x15 A2 to a cumbersome x15 Meter Sq.
All materials are provided and we explore many throughout the sessions.

A full critique is conducted after the sessions a chance for us all to kick back and talk though our triumphs and pitfalls, its jovial and fun!

COME ON! COME IN!
